Wheel Alignment Done Right — What Most Shops Don’t Tell You

April 7, 2026

Wheel alignment is not just making the car drive straight with a quick adjustment. It’s a precise setup that affects how your tires wear, how the car holds the road, and how stable it feels at speed. At FIX SERVICE, we don’t rush this process. We check the vehicle step by step and set everything correctly from the start.

What proper alignment includes

• Starting with the rear axle as the foundation
• Setting the front only after the rear is correct
• Checking and adjusting tire pressure before measurements
• Inspecting tire wear and condition
• Taking vehicle load into account
• Setting camber, toe, and caster to exact specifications

Why it matters

• Prevents tires from wearing out unevenly
• Keeps the car stable and predictable on the road
• Improves steering feel and control
• Avoids repeated adjustments and extra costs

Even small misalignment can cause the car to pull, the steering wheel to sit off-center, or the tires to wear out much faster. Without the correct process, alignment becomes temporary and the problem comes back.

At FIX SERVICE, we follow the correct sequence — rear first, then front — and make sure everything is set properly for real driving conditions.

One Code Doesn’t Mean One Problem — Why Diagnostics Matter

April 7, 2026

Modern vehicles rely on complex systems where one fault code can be triggered by multiple underlying issues. Codes like P0420 or P0300 are only starting points, not final answers. At FIX SERVICE, we don’t replace parts based on codes — we analyze the system, test components, and identify the real cause before making any decision.

What proper diagnostics includes

• Reading codes as a reference, not a conclusion
• Live data analysis and system behavior under load
• Testing sensors, ignition, fuel system, and mechanical condition
• Identifying root cause, not symptoms
• Verifying the fix before completing the job

Why it matters

• Prevents replacing working parts
• Saves time and avoids repeat repairs
• Identifies hidden issues early
• Ensures accurate and long-term repair

A code like P0420 can be caused by a failing catalytic converter, but also by misfires, fuel mixture issues, or sensor errors. P0300 may point to ignition coils, injectors, vacuum leaks, or internal engine problems. Without proper diagnostics, repairs turn into guesswork. At FIX SERVICE, we eliminate guesswork and fix the actual problem.
